You will want a Qur'an of your own, and you will want to be able to recite in Arabic rather than depending on English spellings forever.
Both are more achievable than they look. The alphabet is about thirty letters and most people manage it in a few weeks of short daily sessions. And you do not need to buy the whole Qur'an to begin — the part you actually recite in prayer is one thin book.
More is being written for this section — Al-Fatihah verse by verse, the short surahs used in prayer, and learning the Arabic script. It will appear here as it is ready, in shā' Allāh.
