Salah is the second pillar and the thing you will do more than anything else — five times a day, every day, for the rest of your life.
It looks like a great deal to learn at once. It is not. The prayer is four positions and a handful of short phrases in a fixed order. Learn the shape of two units and every prayer after that is the same shape repeated.
Start with the first two pages. The rest describe prayers you will encounter rather than ones you need this week — but they are here because somebody will take you to a Jumuʿah or a funeral before you have had a chance to read about it.
Pray badly rather than not at all. Use English for what you have not memorised. Get the movements wrong. Lose count. Everyone did. A clumsy prayer prayed today is worth more than a perfect one postponed until you feel ready — and waiting until you are good enough is the trap that keeps people at home for years.
